In honor of Lady Gaga, we’ve devoted our entire station to the pop superstar and her fabulous music! So, why not honor the always fashionable singer with her own edition of Style Stealer?
The mother to all monsters has a super eclectic style that emulates and reflects her unique personality. Always one to take risks, the superstar shows a whole lot of skin but always keeps things classy by incorporating high fashion designer duds.
Wanna get her look at a much cheaper price? Read on… but beware! For this is one daring edition of Style Stealer.
I have selected pieces that will mimic the pop divas ensemble from her amfAR performance during Fall Fashion Week 2010. Gaga rocked a whole lot of white, lace, and pearls… but not much clothing.
I’ve chosen a slightly more conservative version – but by no means is it casual. For those of you who are daring fashion pioneers, feel free to rock this while out on the town. If you’re not up for the challenge, this is a great costume option!
The first item up for purchase, is a bodysuit by American Apparel. The bodysuit retails at $50.00 and you can purchase it from the brands website. FYI, this bodysuit is sheer – make sure you wear pasties underneath!
Gotta cover up that booty for the “Boys, Boys, Boys”…
Being that the bodysuit is sheer, I have selected a pair of shorts by American Apparel as well. They retail at $16.00 and you can purchase them online.
Paging Dr. Gaga…
Lady G rocked a cropped blazer that has lace encrusted detail. I selected a longer version by Sag Harbor and you can purchase it from Kohl’s online. The blazer retails at $44.00 and you will be able to get plenty of use out of it with summer approaching.
Time to top yourself off!
The “Born This Way” star rocked a military style hat in white while performing at Fashion Week last year. I chose a similar style by Nordstrom‘s and you can purchase it from their online store for $28.00. If you want to up your Gaga game, feel free to attach some lace detail to the hat!
Oh look! I’ve found an inexpensive, mock pearl necklace to drape around the outside of your face!
Check out the photos below in order to get a good idea of where to place them! FYI, by tucking them into your hat you can keep them in place. You can purchase the multi-layered necklace from Forever 21’s website for the low price of $11.80.
Lastly, you need to get a pair of shoes!
Gaga is known for her dangerously high platform kicks. So, ladies go big or go home, right? Thought so! The boots I selected have a name that screams Gaga – The Highest Heeled Woman’s Legend Platform! You can purchase the boots from endless online for $99.95.
